Have you ever wondered what it would happen if Donald Glover were to puke into a clarinet while attempting to play it?

Saturday Night Live gave the actor/musician the chance to do just that while reminiscing about his unsuccessful attempts at joining the show's cast in his opening monologue last night (May 5).

Glover -- who's now joined the exclusive ranks of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and a few other artists who both hosted and performed as the musical guest in the same episode -- regaled SNL's audience with some soft humble-bragging about his upcoming turn as Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story and his prolific musical career as Childish Gambino.

He then decided to prove that he "can do anything" while jazzily singing about it, and proceeded to ask various cast members about their SNL auditions while trying to skateboard and downing a poisonous cleaning concoction. (Needless to say, it didn't end well. Especially for the clarinet.)
