Foo Fighters perform on stage at The BRIT Awards 2018 held at The O2 Arena on Feb. 21, 2018 in London, England.

It wasn't quite greased lightning, though John Travolta did make a lightning-quick appearance on stage in Jacksonville, Florida over the weekend when Foo Fighter Dave Grohl invited the actor to step on up.

Travolta did his part with a wave and a bow as Grohl and Co. revved up the Grease classic “You’re The One That I Want” at Welcome to Rockville.

It’s not uncommon for Grohl to yank members from the audience to participate in Foo Fighters gigs. Sometimes pop stars (step on up, Rick Astley). And rockers, like Billy Idol, who guested Sunday night at Metropolitan Park for a rendition of John Lennon’s "Gimme Some Truth." But Hollywood royalty, not so much.

“It’s too much. It’s too much. Thank you and good night,” Grohl said as Travolta left the stage after his surprise cameo.

The Oscar-nominated movie star was in town working with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst on the thriller Moose. Watch Travolta’s cameo and Idol’s performance below.
