Ariana Grande has taken to social media to throw a topsy-turvy clue our way once again, and this time it involves R.E.M. -- though not necessarily the R.E.M. music fans immediately associate with those three letters.

With a tweet on Saturday (April 28) and a follow-up Instagram story, Grande -- at first -- offered nothing more than "r.e.m." and Google's definition for REM sleep, which is "characterized by rapid eye movements, more dreaming and bodily movement, and faster pulse and breathing."

Those first teases were then joined by what appear to be lyrics for her next track, which follows her new single, "No Tears Left to Cry," her strongest debut on YouTube to date and a likely contender for one of the top spots in next week's Billboard Hot 100.

The single's drop date is still TBD, though she told a fan that it wasn't ready "quite yet" for a May 1 release.

If the rollout for "No Tears Left to Cry" is any indication, it's that the singles flowing from Grande's forthcoming album will hit social media first and force a screen-flip in order to read the title.
