In the lead up to the June 8 release of his ninth studio album, The Mountain, Dierks Bentley has partnered with Apple Music for a four-part video series.

Each episode includes stories submitted by country music fans highlighting their resilience and strength as they tackle challenges, as well as footage of Bentley previewing a track from the set.

In this exclusive sneak peek of the second episode, which goes live later today, Jennifer Fry chronicles her progressive hearing loss caused by a congenital condition. Fry, an amateur photographer, talks about her love of photography and her determination to continue on despite her uncertain future.

Her story intersperses with a performance of Bentley and his band of “Living,” an upbeat tale about those days when you feel a little more alive and aware of your surroundings. The video also includes footage of Fry’s stunning photography.

"This song is very much where I am right now, but I see so much of it in our fans too,” Bentley tells Billboard. “They’ve been submitting their stories on social media, and I’ve noticed all the perseverance and gratitude in them despite whatever their struggles are in life. That ability to live in the moment and appreciate each day is really inspiring.”

Apple continues rolling out a new episode every two weeks.

In addition to preparing the release of The Mountain, Bentley is hard at work on his Seven Peaks Festival, the Aug. 31-Sept. 2 multi-day music and camping event put on by Bentley and Live Nation that will also feature Miranda Lambert, Brother Osborne, Elle King and several other artists.
