Queen Latifah to Perform at Essence Festival for the First Time

The 2018 Essence Festival already has an all-star lineup, but a recent special addition makes the bill even stronger.

Queen Latifah will grace the stage at the event for the first time ever, joining the likes of Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, among others. Fans will get to enjoy some of the Queen’s biggest hits, including “U.N.I.T.Y.,” “Ladies First” and “Bananas (Who You Gonna Call?)”

The three-day Essence Festival will take place July 6-8 in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. Check out the full lineup on the festival’s website here.
