James Comey wasn’t the only giant to drop by CBS’ The Late Show on Tuesday night. Wu-Tang Clan members and hip-hop colossuses Ghostface Killah and Method Man stopped in for a sketch about the fate of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, their multi-million-dollar, one-off pressing which is now in the hands of the feds (via arrested "Pharma Bro" Martin Shkreli).
During the sequence, the rappers challenged Attorney General Jeff Sessions, portrayed by a Keebler elf cookie voiced by Colbert, and demanded the album is returned to its rightful owners.
“Quit your yammering you old Keebler elf, you’ve got no business keeping that record to yourself,” said Method Man. Matters took a detour when the cookie described himself as an “old dirty bastard.” Method corrected the snack: “Senator, I knew Ol’ Dirty Bastard. He was a friend of mine. And you, sir, are no Ol’ Dirty Bastard.”
