"Courtney Love is in dire need of attention right now," said Madonna, trying in vain to repress her frustration. Love then hijacked the interview after the host invited her up.
2. Playing a nurse in Marilyn Manson's "Tattooed In Reverse" music video
"Who allowed Courtney Love to be my nurse?" Manson asked in a Twitter tease of his latest music video. "Oh shit...I did." This is one hospital we'd definitely not want to be admitted to.
3. Behaving erratically at Pamela Anderson's Comedy Central roast
"I've been clean and sober for a year!" Love exclaimed after her raunchy roast of Anderson back in 2005. Host Jimmy Kimmel quipped back: "Well, I hope that's not true, because if you're not on drugs, you got problems." All Love could do in response is smile nervously.
4. Standing on David Letterman's desk and flashing him
Love, notorious for not always keeping her bits covered, could only last about a minute into her interview on The Late Show before climbing on host Letterman's desk and inevitably pulling up her shirt. Later on, she teased the audience, too.
5. Stage diving at the WHFS Festival in 1995
Love has never been known to be graceful, as evidenced by this messy stage dive she took during a Hole performance. After being wrangled out of the crowd, she threatened to kick the butt of a fan in the crowd, whose t-shirt she found issue with.
6. Calling out a fan for bringing a photo of Kurt Cobain to her show
Love evidently can't stand reminders of her late husband while she's trying to perform, and we feel for her. In perhaps the most profound moment on this list, she called a fan "stupid and rude" for showing up with a photo of Cobain. "I'm not Kurt, I have to live with his fucking shit and his ghost and his kid every day," she explained, surprisingly composed. "Go see the fucking Foo Fighters and do that shit." She then, appropriately, stormed off stage.
7. Theatening to attack a journalist with Quentin Tarantino's Oscar
Love reportedly attacked a Vanity Fair journalist after the writer reported on Love's heroin use during pregnancy. When the two crossed paths at the 1995 Vanity Fair Oscar party, Love got dangerously close to attacking her, and grabbed the nearest thing she could use as a weapon -- Quentin Tarantino's Oscar statuette, which he won for Pulp Fiction.
8. Getting a bikini wax in front of a journalist
"Courtney Love's Naked Rampage!" announced the cover of Q Magazine's 200th issue. The collector's edition -- consisting of 200 of the publication's wildest encounters -- recalled an instance in which Love decided that mid-interview was an appropriate time to get a Brazilian wax. She then reportedly poured champagne over herself, before, naturally, running naked down the street.
