Kenny Rogers performs during the 2017 CMA Music Festival on June 8, 2017 in Nashville.

Kenny Rogers has been given medical advice to cancel the rest of his 2018 performances, according to the Fox Carolina news site.

The report notes that the singer’s Cherokee, North Carolina show on May 26 was cancelled among other shows due to a “series of health issues.” According to a release sent to the venues, the doctors expect Rogers to be okay, but they recommend he cancels the rest of his “The Gambler’s Last Deal” tour to help recovery.

Fans who expected to attend the concert will get a full refund of their ticket purchase.
