Kim Kardashian Says She Is (Probably) Done Having Kids & Talks Surrogacy Experience With Kanye
In her cover story with Elle, Kim Kardashian flaunts the incredibly transparent nature that has made her and her siblings one of the most famous families in reality television history.
In the interview, Kim K. says her daughter Chicago West -- who was delivered via surrogate this January -- will likely be her last child with rapper husband Kanye West: “I don’t think I could handle more than that. My time is spread really thin," she says. Chicago is joined by 4-year-old North and 2-year-old Saint.
The 37-year-old also reveals a bit more about her surrogacy, a decision having to do with her open battle with a life-threatening condition known as placenta accreta: "The control is hard at the beginning. Once you let that go, it’s the best experience. I would recommend surrogacy for anybody," she says of the experience.
While much of the interview focuses on the overall feel and look of Kim's sterile label-less home and life as a mother, the social media star does speak on some more controversial topics, like her cornrows, or what she refers to as "Bo Derek" braids: “'I’m not worried, because I love Bo Derek,' she says. 'It’s a reference. If you genuinely love something, then it’s what you should do. It’s appreciation.'”
The Kardashian also talks about her relationship with Kanye, which she says has a "good balance." "He’s taught me to have more of an opinion," she said. "I’ve taught him to be a bit more calm or cautious."
