Tyler, the Creator Cancels South American Tour With a Surreal Explanation
'Sometimes a duck isn't a jean jacket...'
Tyler, the Creator won’t be crossing the equator anytime soon.
The rapper has just canceled the South American leg of his international tour, and he did so with a puzzling metaphor, to boot.
hello, im not coming to south america as planned anymore, sucks, i will be there at some point tho, sorry, i know yall was really really looking forward to it, but, uhhh....yeah, sometimes a duck isnt a jean jacket....ill be out there one day, holla * heart emoji*— Tyler, The Creator (@tylerthecreator) March 12, 2018
The rest of the tour -- which picks up on April 11 at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, and includes performances at Coachella, Boston Calling, Sasquatch! and Primavera Sound -- remains intact, and is scheduled to wrap in Dublin on July 14 at Longitude Festival.
Still, that means his Latin American Lollapalooza sets in Chile, Argentina and Brazil are no longer happening, though he promises to return to the region "at some point."
