UPDATE 2: Two versions of the song -- including the Sade-produced original and a No I.D. remix -- have now been officially released. Listen to both below.

UPDATE: Since this story was published, the Audiomack stream of the song has been removed due to a copyright complaint. Billboard will update this story if we learn when the song will be officially released.

When Ava DuVernay approached Sade to create an original song for A Wrinkle In Time, she got the shock of her life. Sade said “yes.”

That song, “Flower of the Universe,” is now in full bloom. DuVernay shared the new track at midnight. “A late-night treat for all you Flowers of the Universe. My thanks to No I.D. And thank you to Sade. You are a queen and a visionary and we love you,” the director tweeted.

With a heavyweight cast featuring Chris Pine, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling, A Wrinkle in Time is set to premiere on March 9. The soundtrack is set to include more original tunes from SiaKehlani, DJ Khaled and Demi Lovato, Chloe x Halle, and FreeStyle Fellowship. Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi will help create the score.

"Flower of the Universe," Sade’s first new music since 2011, is out now.
