On a new episode of Netflix's The Joel McHale Show, actress Kristen Bell revealed a very funny (and also impossibly gross) story about how she and her daughter got anal worms.

Yes, Bell got very candid about the anal worms, also known as pinworms. “I’m not here to talk about pinworms, but I will,” she said. "Fifty percent of people over 15 don’t experience symptoms, which is the itch. Your kids get them because they put their hands in their mouth and they lay eggs.”

Bell and her husband Dax Shepard have two daughters, Lincoln, 4, and Delta, 3. She explained that her children were exposed to pinworms after discovering the carpets at her daughters’ preschool had been removed. She said she Googled pinworms and learned they were contagious -- especially after her daughter began scratching. She also explained, in detail, about wiping her daughter only to actually see a little white worm. “I know, she’s really gross -- my daughter, not the worm. The worm was gross too,” she said.

To prevent it from spreading, the entire family had to drink a “shot of chalky nonsense” from a local drug store. "But I don’t think anybody got it but me and Delta."

"Good to be here, Joel!" she joked as she aggressively shook his hand.
