Kanye West attend the 'Top Five' New York Premiere at Ziegfeld Theater on Dec. 3, 2014 in New York City.

And just like that, Kanye West has deleted his Instagram.

The hip-hop star made a fleeting return to the social media platform on Valentine’s Day, which he marked with scores of posts featuring famous, former couples.

Along with a photo of a homemade card for wife Kim Kardashian that read “Happy Valentine’s Day Babe,” West posted a series of celebrity partnerships including Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt and Aaliyah and Tupac Shakur among others. He completed the lineup with pictures of himself and his wife Kim Kardashian, with the caption “Kimye.”

But alas, like those many starry affairs it just wasn’t meant to be. Less than 24 hours after staging his comeback to Instagram, Kanye pulled the pin on his account

With Kanye’s latest disappearing act, countless news stories which covered his V-Day gesture now sport ugly holes. Romance is dead, apparently.
