Haley Skarupa doesn't mess around on the ice, or in the gym. The forward for the U.S. women's hockey team has two very important pregame superstitions: taping her stick and cranking up her favorite playlist.

Though Nicki Minaj's "Starships" is her go-to karaoke song, Skarupa goes for some slightly harder sounds on the list she sent to Billboard before leaving for the Winter Olympics in Pyeonchang, South Korea.

"Ice hockey is a very dynamic sport, so our pregame pump-up playlist has to be too," she tells Billboard. "We have a wide range of musical interests and, therefore, like to rotate in and out a large variety of genres and artists. While most of us are not entirely as musically gifted as we’d like to be, our team often expresses pregame excitement, focus and passion through song. Whether it is singing along or dancing, the pregame playlist plays a huge role in our warm-up and in our locker room. It is part of our preparation and sets the tone for the game."

From Walk the Moon to Lil Pump, Axwell & Ingrosso and Portugal. The Man, Skarupa is definitely ready to hit the ice hard.
