Lil Uzi Vert Boasts About Finishing an Unreleased Project 'In 12hrs'

It’s fairly hard to believe that Lil Uzi Vert is still, by some standards, a new artist. His first studio album Luv Is Rage 2 debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart this past year, amassing 150.6 million song streams in its first week alone.

And it seems like Uzi is about to build on that portfolio in 2018. The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday (Jan. 4th) to tease a completed project with producer Wheezy, bragging that it only took the two of them 12 hours to complete.

And this certainly won’t be Wheezy’s first big project either. The 20-something-year-old producer from Atlanta worked with Uzi on “Queso,” the Luv Is Rage 2 track featuring Wiz Khalifa. He’s also responsible for much of the magic found on Young Thug’s Barter 6, as well as some of the bigger tracks on Thugger's Slime Season, making a name for himself as one of the Atlanta MC's newest go-to beat makers.

Now that the word is out on the completed project, here's hoping the Uzi-Wheezy magic drops sooner rather than later.
