Imagine Dragons and Walk The Moon Added to New Orleans Lineup For 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2018'
Grammy-winning chart-toppers Imagine Dragons are booked to play live on the night from the Allstate Fan Fest in New Orleans ahead of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, while “Shut Up And Dance” performers Walk The Moon will join the party for the second annual Central Time Zone countdown, also in The Big Easy.
Also announced today is the return of actress Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) as host of the New Orleans festivities.
“I’m thrilled to have ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018’ back in New Orleans to ring in the New Year in our great city,” said Mayor Mitch Landrieu, New Orleans, in a statement. “This is the perfect way to kick off our city’s 300th anniversary. Here in New Orleans, we know how to celebrate, and I can’t wait for another opportunity to showcase our rich culture to the rest of the country.”
As previously reported the New Year’s Eve broadcast will feature performances from artists including Camila Cabello, Nick Jonas, Kelly Clarkson, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Khalid, BTS, Marshmello and Sugarland. Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy will host from Times Square and Ciara will host in Hollywood.
This year’s Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin’ Eve 2018 with Ryan Seacrest begins on Dec. 31 at 8PM EST on ABC.
