iHeartMedia is partnering with global media agencies Mindshare North America and Group M to launch Project YouDoYou, and Billboard has the exclusive.

Project YouDoYou is an initiative promoting that behind every powerful girl is another powerful girl. The project aims to curate inspirational stories and life experiences for young women by collaborating with leading publishers and media owners in the entertainment industry.

The idea is to inspire GenZ girls to lead positive lives and shape their aspirations by surrounding them with mentors who will provide inspiration, encouragement and advice. Participants will also be featured in original series meant to share stories and empower women nationally.

“We were inspired by our own daughters to bring YouDoYou to life. GenZ girls and young women want to make this world a stronger, brighter, kinder place -- and our focus is on lifting them up,” Mindshare’s Chief Content Officer David Lang said of the movement.

In the upcoming year, Project YouDoYou plans to work with major outlets such as Teen Vogue, Buzzfeed, Canvas Media and Wasserman Media.

The launch was announced in a video featuring none other than Camila Cabello at iHeartRadio’s Z100 Jingle Ball in New York City on Friday (Dec.8). At the event, Sabrina Carpenter also led the audience to take a pledge of kindness in support. Watch Cabello’s announcement video for the campaign below as she explains why “there is no better time to be a young woman.”
