Toxicology report cites combination of fentanyl & alprazolam.

The exact cause of Lil Peep’s death has been officially confirmed.

The final toxicology report released Friday (Dec. 8) for the 21-year-old rapper, born Gustav Ahr, showed a combination of the opioid fentanyl and alprazolam, the medical term for Xanax. The death was deemed accidental, according to the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner.

Lil Peep was found unresponsive on his tour bus before his Tucson concert on November. The emo rapper rose to fame in the past year through his emotional hip-hop tunes and has touched upon themes of drugs and mental illness significantly in his lyrics.
