Slated for April 28 at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay, and sponsored by Coca-Cola, the concert will raise and distribute funds for the golf sensation's foundation and children's charities based in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
"From Los Angeles to Indianapolis - the Tiger Woods Foundation is making a difference in the lives of young people who are in need of hope and support," Mellencamp said in a statement.
"As a group that has tried to put on benefits in the past, we are aware of how difficult it can be to organize charity events," Third Eye Blind singer Stephan Jenkins added. "We're impressed by Tiger's commitment and sensitivity in making the effort to help kids in areas where they desperately need it."
Tickets for Tiger Jam IV, which start at $45, go on sale Saturday (March 3) via Ticketmaster and the Mandalay Bay box office.
Last year's event, also held at Mandalay Bay, featured performances from Christina Aguilera, LeAnn Rimes, and Seal. Founded in 1996 by Woods and his father Earl, the Tiger Woods Foundation seeks to empower young people to reach their highest potential through golf clinics, motivational speeches, educational programs, the support of local heroes, and direct grants.
