Sometimes more is less. Take for example Twitter and its execs' curious decision to expand the tweet limit from 140 to 280 characters. Why go there? Who knows. Is it a winner? Ironically, Twitter says "no."

Twitter's leaders hope that the expanded limit will get more people tweeting more. But musicians and celebs aren't buying it. Many turned to their favorite mode of communication to moan about the bigger-but-not-better Twitter...and some just spread out and tweeted 280 characters of nonsense.

Stephen Colbert spoke for the masses when he wrote, "Dear Twitter, If there's one thing we could ask for from 2017, it wouldn't be 'more Twitter.''

Twitter is troll town right now. Check out some celeb reaction below.
