According To Our (ATO) Records will issue new albums this summer from rocker Chris Whitley and teenage songwriter Ben Kweller. The independent label, , which recently saw its debut release, David Gray's "White Ladder," certified platinum in the U.S., was founded by Dave Matthews and manager Coran Capshaw.

Whitley's "Rocket House" is due on June 5, and will be his first full-band studio recording of original material since 1997's "Terra Incognita," his last release for Sony. The rootsy guitar-slinger had two releases in 2000, the voice-and-guitar recording "Chris Whitley: Live At Martyrs'" and the all-covers "Perfect Day," on which he was backed by drummer Billy Martin and bassist Chris Wood of Medeski Martin & Wood fame. "Rocket House" was produced by To ny Mangurian (Luscious Jackson).

Later in the summer, ATO will release the solo recording debut of former Radish frontman Ben Kweller. Kweller found mild success with his former band, which released its only album, "Restraining Bolt," on Polygram in 1997, when Kweller was only 16. Kweller describes his solo recordings as "electric-acoustic power-pop, punk, sing-along new school folk mixed with Texas and toy keyboards."

As for Gray, his "Lost Songs 95-98" will be released via ATO on April 17. He kicks off his largest North American tour to date in Minneapolis on April 12.
