Trey Pearson, former singer of Everyday Sunday, famously left the Christian rock scene after coming out as gay last year. Now, he’s gearing up for his first solo album by releasing its title track “Love Is Love” today (fittingly on National Coming Out Day). Billboard is premiering the song’s lyric video.

““Love Is Love” is an anthem celebrating the freedom to love each other, without fear, because all you need is love,” Pearson tells Billboard.

Billboard can announce that the seven-song album will be released next month, on Nov. 17. “Some of these songs I laid on the floor and literally balled my eyes out as I wrote them,” Pearson says. “Some are about the hope I have felt, and some are turning the corner in the excitement of where I am.”
