A children's book adapted from Elvis Presley's 1956 ballad "Love Me Tender" is set to be released this fall.
The picture book, titled Love Me Tender, is illustrated by Stephanie Graegin and features an endnote written by Priscilla Presley, the singer's former wife. According to its description, it's a "heartwarming ode to the special bond between children and the adults who love and care for them -- be they parents, grandparents, adoptive parents, aunts, uncles or guardians."
Priscilla has helped care for her twin granddaughters, Harper and Finley (the children of Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Lockwood). Their grandmother took them in, in the midst of their parents' divorce -- and she's hoping to keep Elvis' memory alive for them.
