New Tom Petty Tour Details

As first tipped here last week, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers have added a second leg of U.S. tour dates to what was originally a 14-city West Coast trek.

As first tipped here last week, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers have added a second leg of U.S. tour dates to what was originally a 14-city West Coast trek. The new dates begin June 27 in Scranton, Pa., and wrap July 21 in Indianapolis; the tour kicked off last night (May 9) in Corvallis, Ore. Petty's official Web site is offering special Internet presale offers for the summer shows.

The Wallflowers will support through May 21, after which Steve Earle and the Dukes will open through the first leg of the tour's close June 2 in Las Vegas. A support act has yet to be confirmed for the second leg.
