Foo Fighters Lay Out 'Concrete and Gold': Listen
Foo Fighters return with the solid stuff, the rockers’ ninth album Concrete and Gold (Roswell Records/RCA Records).
Produced by Greg Kurstin and Foo Fighters and mixed by Darrell Thorp, Concrete and Gold includes the previously-released tracks "The Line," "The Sky Is A Neighborhood" and the burly "Run," which clocked up the highest first-day numbers of any single in the band’s career.
The Foos will support the 11-track set with a taxing tour taking in arenas, stadiums and festival stages around the globe, including six joint concerts in Australia and New Zealand early next year with Weezer.
Concrete and Gold is the followup to 2014’s Sonic Highways, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Frontman Dave Grohl has gone on the record as saying he wanted the new LP to feel like “Mötörhead’s version of Sgt. Pepper”. Check it out for yourself.
