In a heartfelt tribute to Walter Becker of Steely Dan, who passed away Tuesday morning (Sept. 3), Zac Brown performed a rendition of "Reelin' in the Years" during his band's performance at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania that same night.

"Mr. Walter Becker of Steely Dan passed away today, so we're gonna do a little tribute to him right now," Brown told the crowd of 30,000 people. After harmonizing the simple melody along with the hearty strings of their guitars and violins, Zac Brown Band transitioned to its own string-heavy song "Sweet Annie."

The country band wasn't the only musical group to pay tribute to Becker over the weekend. Beck played a few measures of Steely Dan's "Josie" while opening up for U2 in Detroit on Sunday night.
