Camila Cabello Speaks Out Against Trump's Planned DACA Repeal

Camila Cabello joins the group of multiple celebrities who have spoken out against the Trump administration’s plans to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, permitting undocumented immigrants who moved to the U.S. as children the opportunity to study and work without the risk of deportation.

Cabello, who is a Cuban immigrant herself, took to Twitter and Instagram to bring awareness.

Camila’s former Fifth Harmony bandmate Lauren Jauregui also spoke out in support of DACA, tweeing, on Monday (Sept. 4) “It's incredible to me that you'll pardon a man who is known for running his prison as a Latino concentration camp and call him a patriot, but then deport kids with a dream to be successful citizens with safe lives.” (Jauregui was born in Miami, but her parents are Cuban immigrants.)
