Will Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs be walking down the aisle anytime soon?

During the Twilight actor's appearance Monday on SiriusXM's Howard Stern Show, Stern asked if Pattinson and British singer FKA Twigs -- who have been dating since September 2014 -- are engaged. Pattinson's answer? "Kind of."

This isn't the first time he's been soft-spoken about the relationship. The notoriously private actor tells Stern that he prefers to keep his relationships under the radar because of the level of scrutiny he and his partner face in the public eye.

It's no surprise that the couple is wary of scrutiny, considering the racist attacks Twigs has received on social media following news of their relationship.

Pattinson tells Stern, "It's one of the most frustrating things in the world, because you want to be able to [show PDA], but you get kind of stuck in a position where, like, you have to make the decision. ... Do you want to let, kind of, crazy people in? And so you kind of think, to protect it, I want to create a big boundary between it, but then it makes it difficult for your actual relationship."
