On Wednesday afternoon (July 12), CNN aired exclusively obtained video from 2013 in which President Donald Trump interacts with music publicist Rob Goldstone, singer Emin Agalarov and his billionaire father Aras Agalarov.

The three individuals all play a role in the controversy the president's son is embroiled in. On Tuesday, Donald Trump Jr. released a series of emails from 2016 in which he corresponds with Goldstone about some Russian intelligence that could aid his father's campaign. The video was shot at an event in Las Vegas.

"The video, obtained by CNN in the wake of the email disclosures, offers fresh insights into the warm relationship between Trump and the Agalarovs," according to the report.

Trump is shown talking to Goldstone briefly during the video, and calls the Agalarovs" "the most powerful people in all of Russia" and "the richest men in Russia."

While the video provides visual evidence of their relationship, it's been documented that Trump knows the Agalarovs and worked with them to hold the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow.

CNN does not generally discuss how it obtains news video footage.
