Currently on the Total Package Tour with New Kids on the Block, Donnie Wahlberg stopped for a late-night snack at a Waffle House in Edgewood, Maryland, on Monday and ended up surprising the staff with a $500 tip.

Wahlberg even shared a selfie with two employees on Twitter, thanking them for their "awesome service."

Jessica Reed, an employee who works the morning shift at the Waffle House, told People, “There were two servers and a cook, and he left a $500 tip for the three of them to split, They took a picture together and he was apparently really awesome.”

One of the employees who was there for Wahlberg's 3 a.m. meal tweeted a picture of the $62.75 bill with his generous tip, including a smiley face and a heart.
