Ultimately, we realized it's a topic we simply shouldn't tackle on our own – it's just too big for the Billboard staff to decide without some expert help.

So we're asking you – the movers, players, influencers and innovators in the music industry – to help us pare down a list of the most important, incredible albums of all time.

We've included a massive – but not comprehensive -- list of records to help you choose. This list represents the best-selling, most influential, most acclaimed and most unforgettable albums across a variety of genres and decades. We're focusing almost entirely on studio albums – compilations are only included where absolutely necessary, and live albums appear in select, historically important instances.

Click on as many of the albums as you like – there's no limit for how many you want to nominate for the final list. If you don't see an album you consider one of the best of all time, enter it in the write-in category – we want to see what you nominate.

Thanks! We're excited to see where this goes.
