Taylor Swift's Entire Catalog Is Now on Spotify & Other Streaming Services: Go Listen
Swifties, your wildest dreams have come true: Taylor Swift just made her entire back catalog available on Spotify and other streaming services.
The pop superstar's five albums are also available on Tidal, Amazon, Deezer, Pandora and other digital music platforms, ending a years-long stalemate.
Swift’s label Big Machine Label Group yanked her music from Spotify just days out from the release of 1989 in late 2014, citing the freemium model as devaluing music. Her tough line prompted Spotify to write a message asking her to “change her mind and join us in building a new music economy that works for everyone.”
She then hit it out of the park with another statement against Apple's plan not to pay royalties during Apple Music's three-month trials. Apple swiftly relented.
Fast forward to June 2017, and the pop singer has had a change of heart on streaming. It’s all timed to celebrate 1989 selling more than 10 million units worldwide and the milestone announcement from the RIAA of her shifting 100 million song units (and it just so happens to be the night Katy Perry releases her latest LP, Witness).
