Skip Marley Challenges Tyranny With Revolutionary Anthem 'Lions' in New Video: Watch
Skip Marley is having a big month. Since releasing his first single with Island Records, "Lion," earlier this month, he's received some massive praise from Katy Perry and a big feature on the pop superstar's new single "Chained to the Rhythm." Now, Bob Marley's grandson has released a new video for "Lions" that positions him further as the voice of a revolution.
In the new Tim Mattia-directed clip, Marley plots rebellion from a dilapidated Los Angeles warehouse in a dystopian world where a devilish fascist brainwashes the youth. Marley and his friends tap into the system to broadcast "Lion" and start an insurrection (and also a bit of a party).
By the time daylight comes, Marley and his crew have won a battle but surely the war wages on.
