Katy Perry puts a fan through a lie detector test on Capital FM radio.

Everyone has told a little white lie before, but most of us don’t get called out for those lies by Katy Perry on a live radio show.

That’s what happened to 22-year-old Danielle, a self-proclaimed Katy Perry superfan, on Wednesday when the singer made a guest appearance at the U.K.-based radio station Capital FM.

Danielle was hooked up to a lie-detector machine overseen by an expert while Perry asked her a series of questions like “Do you like my new hairstyle?” to which Danielle answered, “Yes, I love it!”

According to both the machine and the expert, that was a lie.

Perry feigned surprise and laughed it off while Danielle squirmed.

"All right, well, it's a wig," Perry said. "I guess I can take it off."
