Sinead O'Connor has apologized to Arsenio Hall after accusing the talk show host of being the one to supply Prince with drugs.
The Irish singer controversially implied Hall had contributed to the downfall and subsequent death of Prince last April, a claim the actor and funnyman flatly denied.
About a week after Prince died in Minnesota, O'Connor wrote on Facebook that the singer was a "long time hard drug user" who "got his drugs over the decades" from Hall. Hall’s reps then filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit in which O'Connor was described as a "desperate, attention-seeker ... now known perhaps as much for her bizarre, unhinged internet rants as for her music.”
