Ed Sheeran crashes Katy Perry's interview with Grimmy on BBC Radio 1.

Katy Perry was discussing her new single and the 2017 Brit Awards at BBC Radio 1 when her interview was interrupted by a special guest: Ed Sheeran.

Sheeran was also at BBC the same morning, covering Little Mix’s “Touch,” when Perry spotted him walking past the studio window. She jokingly flipped him off for “keeping her off the No. 1 spots” (“Shape of You” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a third total week, while Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm” currently stands at No. 4). The quip urged Sheeran to enter the studio and join in on Perry’s interview with Nick Grimshaw.

The duo discussed the first time they met, when a sweaty Sheeran just got off the stage in Toronto and Perry refused to hug him. Perry confessed things would be different now that he’s famous, stating, “Now that you’re Ed Sheeran, it’s like, put your ball sack on me.”

They then delved into a multitude of anecdotes during the seven-minute clip, including bonding over Grammy losses, Perry’s fake British accent and hungover plane rides.
