Rapper Nas will launch a North American tour on Feb. 23 at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. The trek, set to close March 30 in Las Vegas, comes in support of Nas' latest Ill Will/Columbia album "Stillmatic," which is No. 7 on The Billboard 200 and No. 2 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The single "Got U Self A..." is No. 15 on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart.

"Stillmatic" continues Nas' war of words with rival rapper Jay-Z, who began the feud with "Takeover" from his 2001 Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam album "The Blueprint." Nas addresses his competitors on tracks like "Destroy & Rebuild" and "Ether," along with his thoughts on everything from street life to American society. "2nd Childhood," produced by Gang Starr's DJ Premier, gives listeners a torrid description of life in the projects.

A video for next single "One Mic" will be shot later this month with director Chris Robinson (Faith Evans, Angie Stone). Nas can also be heard on Jagged Edge's "I Got It," which debuted at No. 78 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart last week.
