'The Voice' Winner Sundance Head Signs With Republic Records

Season 11 Voice winner Sundance Head has inked a deal with Republic Records, the musician announced on his Facebook page Friday (Feb. 3).

The singer expressed his gratitude to Republic heads Avery and Monte Lipman "for their support and belief in me."

Sundance Head -- who competed as part of Blake Shelton’s team and will open for his coach beginning Feb. 12 on tour -- has also signed with Dreamcatcher Management, Loeb & Loeb for legal representation and CAA for booking appearances.

The Texas native -- who also competed on the sixth season of American Idol -- was crowned the winner of The Voice after performing his original song “Darlin’ Don’t Go” in the finals.
