Stalwart Philly soul group the O'Jays will launch a U.S. concert tour in support of their latest MCA album "For the Love." The jaunt will kick off March 14 in Boston and crisscross the country over the course of a month, wrapping April 14 in St. Louis.

Along the way, the venerated group will, as previously reported make a stop in Los Angeles for the 16th Annual Soul Train Music Awards, where it will pick up the 2002 Quincy Jones Award for Outstanding Career Achievement at the ceremony at L.A.'s Memorial Sports Arena.

Some 36 years after the release of the O'Jays' first album, "For the Love" debuted last October at No. 11 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The disc also recently received a Grammy nomination for best traditional R&B vocal album.
