The event, hosted by designer John Varvatos & real estate exec Greg Williamson, will raise money for God's Love We Deliver.

Fashion design icon John Varvatos and NYC real estate executive Greg Williamson have announced a first-ever benefit concert for God’s Love We Deliver, a New York-based nonprofit organization celebrating its 31st anniversary.

The “Love Rocks NYC! A Change Is Gonna Come: Celebrating Songs of Peace, Love and Hope” concert features an all-star lineup, including a variety of Grammy winners and nominees and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees from a range of genres. The artists scheduled to perform include Cyndi Lauper, Joe Walsh, Mavis Staples, Jackson Browne, Warren Haynes, Gary Clark Jr., Michael McDonald, Susan Tedeschi, Aaron Neville, Derek Trucks, CeCe Winans, Dr. John and additional surprise guests.

The event is inspired by Sam Cooke’s legendary single “A Change Is Gonna Come” and hopes to unite new and existing supporters of God’s Love We Deliver, the New York metropolitan area’s leading provider of meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illness.

“Love Rocks NYC!” will take place March 9 at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. All proceeds will go directly to God’s Love We Deliver.
