"Being a part of the original film was such a magical experience in my life, and I’m truly honored to be a part of this film again," Dion wrote in her big reveal.
Dion also tweeted the news:
As previously shown in clips from Beauty & The Beast (in theaters March 17), Watson will provide her own vocals in the role of protagonist Belle. In addition, the film will include a team-up from Ariana Grande and John Legend on an all-new rendition of Dion's "Beauty and the Beast" duet with Peabo Bryson, as well as three new songs written by Alan Menken and Tim Rice.
The live-action movie stars Watson, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Kevin Kline as Belle's father, Luke Evans as Gaston and Josh Gad as Gaston's sidekick LeFou. Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Stanley Tucci, Audra McDonald and Emma Thompson will voice the film's inanimate characters.
