Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Celebrate and Receive Congrats on Social Media

This year is ending in exciting fashion for JourneyPearl Jam, Electric Light Orchestra and the rest of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2017, who were revealed as official inductees Tuesday morning (Dec. 20), with Chic frontman Nile Rodgers also announced as the recipient of the Award for Musical Excellence.

Despite some frustration over the snubs for the upcoming 32nd annual Rock Hall induction ceremony, those who were chosen were ecstatic over the honor and expressed their gratitude on social media. From Journey writing that they're "humbled" to every member of Yes chiming in on the band's Twitter page, there's no denying this is a huge deal for all of next year's honorees.

Take a look at some of the posts below.

Some of the 2017 inductees also received kudos from fellow rock stars -- and Eddie Vedder even got a shout-out from his hometown baseball team.

The induction ceremony will be held April 7, 2017, at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and will be broadcast live by SiriusXM and filmed for a telecast on HBO.
