Even the Foos approve: "F--- YES."

The Foo Fighters approve of a fan-created mash-up of their 2007 song “The Pretender” with Rick James’ “Super Freak,” turning into a rock/disco banger you never expected.

The clip starts out with Led Zeppelin’s easily recognizable guitar riff from “Stairway to Heaven” before placing the vocals of “Super Freak” over “The Pretender” with a little help from The Beach Boys with “Help Me Rhonda” at the end (yes, it's all in there).

The band tweeted a link Tuesday (Dec. 13) to the video with the caption “F--- YES.”
