The rash of festival tours that hit the North American circuit each summer offer music fans a better value than solo artist tours, according to a recently completed Billboard.com poll. Out of 1,342 voters, 38% said package tours offering multiple top-level artists for one price are more favorable than solo artists treks. Conversely, 31% of those voting took the exact opposite side of the argument, stating simply that they do not like festival tours.

Another 12% said they like festivals because of the possibility of unique onstage collaborations. The fact that the shorter sets artists play at festivals consist mostly of well-known songs was a deciding factor for 10% of voters, while another 10% enjoy the plethora of non-musical diversions such outings offer.

A new poll asking you to pick your favorite of this year's "VH1 Divas" will soon be underway in The Voting Booth. Stop by and register your vote today!
