'American Idol' Alum Blake Lewis & Postmodern Jukebox Cover the Killers: Watch
Lewis dressed the part for the occasion with a stylish red jacket and bow tie for the song, which the band described as a Frank Sinatra-styled version of the 2004 song. Postmodern Jukebox leader Scott Bradlee said the idea for the cover came from one of his "Pianogram" song requests.
"Blake adapts very quickly to every musical setting, and his performance here shows a style and sophistication that befits the era," Bradlee wrote on the group's website. The song is available for download on iTunes.
