Dan Dalton, whose Dalton Entertainment Group counts among its clients Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley and the Irish-American punk band Flogging Molly, has announced a partnership with Roc Nation that will see the two working together across all areas of their businesses, which include touring, marketing and branding.

"I first met [Roc Nation CEO] Jay Brown and [Roc Nation founder] Jay-Z in 2004 when Damian was shopping for a record deal," Dalton tells Billboard. "Jay and Jay Z were at Def Jam, and it was an exciting time with Damian's 'Welcome to Jamrock' being a summer anthem. We really vibed with them and liked their take on the music business, and very much value their opinions."

Dalton's impressive managerial career includes stints representing Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples and the Beat Junkies, with time at well-known shops like The Firm, Red Light Management, Frontline Management and most recently Jordan Feldstein's Career Artist Management.
"Dalton Entertainment Group is an exciting partnership for Roc Nation," says Jay Brown in a statement. "His commitment to artistic process and growth are part of our mutual ideology. Dan has a combination of amazing instincts and experience across all aspects of the music industry and we look forward to the innovative ideas that come."

Roc Nation's roster includes Rihanna, Shakira, J. Cole, Santigold, HAIM, Meek Mill and Big Sean among many others. Last year the growing entertainment concern partnered with Philymack, which represents Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and DNCE. Roc Nation yesterday announced it had signed veteran rap trio The LOX (Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch) who will release their first album in 16 years on Dec. 16, a week after J. Cole's fourth album 4 Your Eyez Only comes out.

Both Marley and Flogging Molly have albums due for release in 2017.
