Ne-Yo & Derek Hough Join Jennifer Lopez's Competition Show 'World of Dance'

Derek Hough and Ne-Yo are confirmed to join Jennifer Lopez's competition show World of Dance as judges, NBC announced on Tuesday.

The "Ain't Your Mama" singer, who will also serve as executive producer on the show, took to social media to welcome Hough and Ne-Yo tweeting: "Exciting 'World of Dance' news! Welcome to the team."

Hough expressed his excitement on social media as well. "Thrilled to be joining JLo and Ne-Yo with the amazing new show 'WORLD OF DANCE'. I cannot wait to see the amazing talent we will uncover on this new incredible adventure," he wrote on Instagram. Next month, he'll also be starring as show host Corny Collins on NBC's Hairspray Live!.

The "Time Of Our Lives" singer added: "Passion, Precision, Technicality, Groove....What makes the world's best dancer THE WORLD'S BEST DANCER? We shall see."

The 10-episode run will challenge contestants to demonstrate their skills in an unlimited range of dance, including hip-hop, krumping, ballet and ballroom. The winner will receive $1 million.
