'Glee' Star Naya Rivera Files for Divorce From Ryan Dorsey
The couple were married for two years and have one child together.
Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey are splitting up after two years of marriage.
Rivera filed for divorce from Dorsey last week, according to E! News and TMZ. They share one child together, 1-year-old son Josey Hollis Dorsey. Rivera asked for primary physical custody, with visitation rights for Dorsey.
"After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage," the couple of actors said in a joint statement. "Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time."
Rivera and Dorsey were married in a secret ceremony in Mexico in July 2014. The two had dated previously before breaking up and Rivera began dating Big Sean, getting engaged in 2013. After the Rivera and the rapper called off their wedding, the Glee star reunited with Dorsey and were married three months later. Their son, Josey, was born in September 2015.
