Lauryn Hill performs during the 2016 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival at Fair Grounds Race Course on April 29, 2016 in New Orleans.

Lauryn Hill is lengthening her tour with new engagements in Southern California, a second show in Miami and various locations throughout the Midwest and East Coast. The concert series, The MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! (powered by Live Nation and Tidal), showcases artist performances from multiple parts of the African diaspora.

"The MLH Caravan allows me to continue the theme of unity and celebration of the many facets of cultural and artistic beauty throughout the African diaspora while on tour this summer and fall," Hill said in a statement.

She added, "In these days of tension, tumult and transition, an exchange of this kind can yield direction, expression, understanding and empowerment as well as connection, self Love and appreciation that hopefully overflows into our respective communities." The concert series will run through April 2017.

Hill also shared a performance video of "Lost Ones/Zombie," where she takes the stage with Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 at the Fela Kuti tribute in Paris on Sept. 8.
