Billboard Launching 'Billboard News' Daily Video Series

Our new multi-platform video news series will cover the music world's top stories in multiple daily reports.

Billboard is announcing the exciting debut of the Billboard News video series, designed to keep fans up to date about all the breaking stories and hot topics concerning the music world. Hosted by Chelsea Briggs and Kevan Kenney, the multi-platform series will release four 60- to 90-second episodes daily, and will cover the top artists, albums, songs, charts, shows, trends, styles, celebrities and gossip from across the music industry.

In addition to being viewable on, Billboard News will also feature on Facebook, Twitter, AOL, Yahoo!, Condé Nast, MSN, Bloomberg and AP, as well as on YouTube's brand new Billboard News channel. In all, Billboard plans to release nearly 1,500 episodes of the new series over the course of the next 12 months.

"Music fans today are hungry for minute-by-minute coverage about the music they love delivered to wherever they are, in a format tailored to meet the needs of their fast-paced lives,” explains Michael Palmer, general manager, video of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, about the new series. “With Billboard News, we’ll be able to give millions of music fans a new way to stay engaged and in touch with the world of music that plays such an important role in their lives.”

Billboard News will draw on Billboard's editorial access and expertise to deliver music fans informative, quick-hitting video updates that can be watched on the go. The series will be produced in-house by teams in Billboard's New York and Los Angeles offices, and will expand the brand's video thumbprint, which will also include over a thousand Facebook Live broadcasts airing in the next year.
